BACK TO DISCOGRAPHY

Seattle’s Black Cloud defies the narrow confines of modern hardcore. Their debut full-length, "Life Without Summer" (arriving May 20, 2026), is a visceral exploration of dynamism- shifting seamlessly from fast, brutal outbursts to contemplative, rhythmic soundscapes. This deeply emotional album takes the listener on a journey through pain, loss, anger, and into the depths of despair.
Born from the success of previous bands like Cheyenne, The Loss, and You May Die in the Desert- Black Cloud sounds like a hardcore band from rain soaked Seattle. Recorded and mixed by guitarist Robert Calkins and co-produced with vocalist Chris Andrews, the record is an exemplar of controlled chaos. The mastering engineer, Brad Boatright (Stranger Things, Sleep), ensured the album’s crushing weight was captured perfectly. “Life Without Summer” is a record designed to leave you both inspired and outraged.
Black Cloud is a dynamic hardcore band known for their intense live shows- catch them on tour across the PNW this year.
